Try Hard was founded by BAFTA nominated producer Sorcha Bacon and award winning cinematographer Nick Morris in 2013.
Try Hard champions character led stories focusing on marginalised voices which aren’t often seen on screen. We are always looking for new, exciting, but more importantly diverse, talent to produce authentic and ambitious work, never compromising on honesty or artistic quality.
Our latest short “Wren Boys” directed by Harry Lighton was commissioned as part of Film London’s 2017 slate, which it went on to win, before premiering in competition at BFI London Film Festival. "Wren Boys" has been both BAFTA & BIFA nominated, won the Oscar Qualifying Galway Film Fleadh amongst others and has screened in competition at festivals including Sundance, Flickerfest, SXSW, Apsen Shortsfest, Athens, Florida and more.
Try Hard is currently in development for it's debut feature as well as developing a slate of new short documentaries & narrative dramas supported by the BFI Net.Work & Lush Film Fund.
